Product Specifications
Compatibility: Can be integrated as a pre-filter with existing water filters, fountains, or ionizers. Pre-Filter Requirement: Recommended mesh size of 5-20µ to prevent clogging
Filtration Efficiency: 0.01µ micron filter media, effective against bacteria like Giardia, Cryptosporidium, E. coli, and other pathogens
Microplastic Removal: Capable of filtering out microplastics and nanoplastics, addressing environmental concerns
Water Sources: Suitable for city tap water, tank water, bore water, and natural water bodies
Backflush Facility: The Ultra has a 3rd port which is the provision as a backflush facility. It pays to backflush the filter approx. every 1-3 months depending on water source quality. With most water qualities the back-flushing option is an important part for extending the filter life.
Flow Direction: Clearly marked with an arrow for correct installation
Filter Lifespan: 18 months usage (dependent on backflush being exercised every 6 months and a sediment pre-filter installed)
Working Pressure: 15 - 50 PSI (Please note: a pressure reducing valve is required for higher water pressures. See 'Accessories' for pressure reducing valve).
