Ultra Filter: This filter is specifically designed for rainwater, tank water, bore water, or creek water. It effectively eliminates bacteria, cysts, giardia, cryptosporidium, and E.coli, ensuring that rural water supplies are safe to drink (assuming the source water is clear and not contaminated).
Alka Spring Cartridge: This cartridge alkalizes the water, elevating the pH level to approximately 9.5-10, depending on the incoming water pH. For rainwater, it addresses the pH issue by raising it from an acidic level of 5.9 to approximately pH 9.
Installation: Follow these simple steps to connect it to your kitchen mixer tap and enjoy clean, alkaline water:
- Connect the Alka Flow to the kitchen mixer tap by attaching the 1/4" tubing (included) to the outlet on the back of the unit.
- Use the tap-diverter valve (included) to connect the Alka Flow to the end of the spout of your Mixer sink tap.
- Unscrew the aerator nozzle of the spout and insert the supplied insert-ring and silicon or rubber seal.
- Screw the tap-diverter valve onto the insert-ring, securing it in place.
- Get ready to run water and experience the benefits of the Alka Flow!
