How it works

Far-Infra-Red (FIR) energy beads

Emit energy in the far-infrared range, which is readily absorbed by water molecules — helping break them into smaller clusters that are more easily absorbed by the body's cells.

Negative ion minerals

Infuse water with negatively charged ions, which help restructure water molecules into smaller clusters and offer antioxidant properties by neutralizing free radicals.

Essential minerals & trace elements

Enriches your water with a diverse array of minerals — including Maifanite (Wisdom Stone) — supporting electrolyte balance, detoxification and immune support.

What this cartridge is designed to support

Rainwater (concrete tank)

Generally lacks minerals and is acidic unless stored in a concrete tank. Remineralization is not recommended for long-term rainwater storage without one.

Rainwater (plastic tank)

Plastic tanks remain acidic and lack minerals — this is exactly the scenario the Alka Spring is designed to correct.

Concrete tank storage

Concrete leaches some alkalizing minerals (Ca/Mg) into the water already, but the range and consistency are limited — a remineralizer is still recommended.

Reverse osmosis filtered water

RO strips out contaminants but also minerals, leaving water acidic (~pH 5.9). Remineralizing is strongly recommended before drinking.
