EOS Revelation II - Filter 2
The EOS Revelation II water ionizers use Filter 2, which features a 5-stage filtration process with a capacity of 8000 liters.
The filter has a mesh size of 0.1µ (micron), ensuring effective removal of contaminants. It is important to note that regional differences in water quality may affect the filtration performance.
The filtering material used in the filter is made in Korea and consists of the following stages:
- Antibiotic one-side filter
- Zeomic
- Noxious Odor Calcium
- Active Carbon (with silver added)
- Sediment filter
When used in combination with Filter 1, these filters have excellent filtration capacity, effectively removing chlorine, heavy metals, bacteria, giardia, and other contaminants. As a result, the water tastes pure and refreshing.
To monitor the filter's remaining capacity, the water ionizer features an LCD screen that indicates when the filter needs to be replaced. It is recommended to have a new filter ready once the remaining capacity reaches the lower end. If the taste and smell of the water are abnormal, it is necessary to replace the filter earlier than its designated capacity. The display will give a signal when the filter is nearing exhaustion, typically at around 70 liters remaining.
Changing the filters is a straightforward process. Here are the steps:
- Open the back door of the filter compartment.
- Unplug the filter sensor cable.
- Unscrew the filter in the direction indicated by the arrows on top of the filter.
- Pull out the old filter from its filter base.
- Insert the new filter by pushing it into the filter housing and turning it in the opposite direction as indicated on top of the filter.
- Reconnect the filter sensor cable.
- Close the lid of the filter compartment.
After the filter change, the display will show the new capacity of the filter, and you can continue enjoying purified water from your EOS Platinum or Revelation II water ionizer.
Whats is the ideal water for the machine to function at its best ?
Water hardness should be low. TDS should be between 40 – 150. The flow rate should be at around 2 liters per minute, but these parameters are flexible. The most important part to get right is the minerals inside the water, without any minerals in the water the machine can not electrolyze properly. If living ruraly, please use the Active-Bio prefilters.
When should I use pre-filters with the Ionizer ?
We advice use city or municipal water for the machine , because rain water are all complex and depending on your water tank, it can also be acidic. The most important part to get right is the minerals inside the water, without any minerals in the water the machine can not electrolyze properly.
We suggest to use the ACTIVE-BIO pre-filter system to ensure the machine produces correct pH levels. In case there is presence of Fluoride in the water supply, please use the FluorEX Pre-filters.
My machine is not working and I have the following error E0
E0 is indicating about an issue with the water flow that goes into the machine. Please check that your pressure reducing valve is installed and adjust the flow if needed.
please check the attached video on how to adjust the pressure reducing valve. It is necessary to have the pressure reducing valve installed in order to prevent high water pressure going into the machine which can result in having the error that you are experiencing.
Please also refer to the EOS manual regarding the Auto-Diagnosis Errors.
In case the issue is still occurring, please send a short Video to our customer support that describes the issue.
