The LifeSpring UV Whole House filter system is an excellent solution for homes that need safe water from supplies with organic contaminants such as bacteria, giardia, cryptosporidium, or E. coli. It also addresses issues related to sprays and agri-chemicals.

Designed to provide comprehensive filtration for a household of 1-3 people in the 10" size and 4-6 people in the 20" Size.

The dimensions of the LifeSpring system are approximately

  • The twin system includes two filters.
    • Filter 1 is a 10 Micron Lifespring Rural Sediment - Pleated Filter, effectively removing sediment and other particulate matter.
    • Filter 2 is a .5 Micron LifeSpring Carbon/radial-flow - Filter, featuring activated carbon block technology for exceptional contaminant removal, including cysts such as Giardia.
  • The triple system includes three filters.
    • Filter 1 is a 10 Micron Lifespring Rural Sediment - Pleated Filter, effectively removing sediment and other particulate matter.
    • Filter 2 is a 25 to 1 Micron Lifespring Gradient Sediment Filter, efficiently captures sediment particles and provides cleaner and clearer water.
    • Filter 3 is a .5 Micron LifeSpring Carbon/radial-flow - Filter, featuring activated carbon block technology for exceptional contaminant removal, including cysts such as Giardia.

The recommended flow for this system is 58 liters per minute, with a peak flow of 111 liters per minute.

Pentair Pleated Filter Cartridges are washable, reusable and durable. Because of this the cartridge has an extended life span and is economical.  It also has an increased dirt holding capacity so cleaning is required less often.

The Carbon/radial-flow - Filter is a Pentair® Pentek® UDS & DBC series cartridges. They are enhanced with KDF media to inhibit scale buildup in the filter that can decrease product life. These cartridges are constructed of high performance granular activated coconut shell carbon and a 5-micron spun bonded polypropylene post sediment element for increased dirt holding capacity. They are effective for chlorine taste and odor reduction in high capacity situations and where lime and scale buildup problems occur.
