Add 2 full tablespoons of citric acid powder to the water and stir until the powder dissolves completely. 4. Pour the solution into the filter housing, place and tighten the cap. Do not install the filter yet. 5. On the faucet display select filtered water setting ph 7.0 and press it so the water runs through the device. Water must be filtered. Turn the ionizer off after 34 seconds for the solution to reach the electrolysis chamber. 6. Close the water supply and unplug the device from the power outlet. Leave the ionizer for 60 minutes with the solution inside. 7. Turn the water supply on and plug the device into the power outlet.
